Secretary

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our successful estate agency based in Leigh-on-Sea.

The role includes all aspects of administration & secretarial duties namely:
  • Preparing market appraisal packs for Property Valuers
  • Preparing all documentation to place a property onto the market
  • Using MS Word to prepare property brochures
  • Prepare the weekly newspaper advert
  • Supporting the Sales Team/ Property Valuers
  • General secretarial duties to the Valuers
  • Raise invoices & additional documentation
  • Liaise with technical support when required to resolve IT issues
  • Answer phone calls as required

The correct candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:
  • Excellent typing skills no less than 70/80wpm
  • Able to work under pressure & work on own initiative
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Be competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • A positive, enthusiastic & adaptable attitude
  • Available to work some Saturdays (with a day off in lieu)
  • Good time management skills
  • The ability to create and maintain a good relationship with new and existing clients

The candidate must also be articulate and have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as being able to work in a busy customer environment.

Lettings Agent

We are looking for an experienced lettings agent to join our successful estate agency based in Leigh-on-Sea.

Duties will include:
  • Processing tenancy applicants and reference requests
  • Drawing up tenancy agreements and DPS prescribed information
  • Producing move in packs for tenants and landlord information packs
  • Negotiating tenancy terms, rent increases and any other conditions of the let
  • Handling all management aspects including maintenance, rent collection & end of tenancy procedures
  • Carrying out end of tenancy and mid-term property visits
  • Helping with the general running of the department
  • Advising landlords and tenants on legal guidelines surrounding the lettings industry with confidence

The correct candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:
  • Experience in residential lettings
  • A good knowledge of current lettings legislation / ARLA registered
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Available to work weekends
  • Good time management skills
  • The ability to create and maintain a good relationship with new and existing clients
  • Full UK driving licence

The ideal Lettings Agent must also be articulate and have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as being able to work in a busy customer environment.
