Lettings Negotiator- Full-time job

 

We are looking for an experienced lettings agent to join our successful estate agency based in Leigh-on-Sea.

Duties will include;
• Processing tenancy applicants and reference requests
• Drawing up tenancy agreements and DPS prescribed information 
• Producing move in packs for tenants and landlord information packs
• Negotiating tenancy terms, rent increases and any other conditions of the let
• Handling all management aspects including maintenance, rent collection & end of tenancy procedures
• Carrying out end of tenancy and mid-term property visits 
• Helping with the general running of the department
• Advising landlords and tenants on legal guidelines surrounding the lettings industry with confidence

The correct candidate for this position should meet the following criteria; 
• Experience in residential lettings 
 • A good knowledge of current lettings legislation / ARLA registered 
• Good negotiation skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Available to work weekends
• Good time management skills
• The ability to create and maintain a good relationship with new and existing clients
• Full UK driving licence 

The ideal Lettings Agent must also be articulate and have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as being able to work in a busy customer environment.
