Lettings Negotiator- Full-time job

 

We are looking for an experienced lettings agent to join our successful estate agency based in Leigh-on-Sea.

Duties will include;
• Processing tenancy applicants and reference requests
• Drawing up tenancy agreements and DPS prescribed information 
• Producing move in packs for tenants and landlord information packs
• Negotiating tenancy terms, rent increases and any other conditions of the let
• Handling all management aspects including maintenance, rent collection & end of tenancy procedures
• Carrying out end of tenancy and mid-term property visits 
• Helping with the general running of the department
• Advising landlords and tenants on legal guidelines surrounding the lettings industry with confidence

The correct candidate for this position should meet the following criteria; 
• Experience in residential lettings 
 • A good knowledge of current lettings legislation / ARLA registered 
• Good negotiation skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Available to work weekends
• Good time management skills
• The ability to create and maintain a good relationship with new and existing clients
• Full UK driving licence 

The ideal Lettings Agent must also be articulate and have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as being able to work in a busy customer environment.

 

 

   

 

 

Sales Progession Job Specification- Experience is not required and strong guidance will be provided


We are looking for an enthusiastic post graduate to join our team at Home, experience not required. The role is full time and will be based in the sales progression team.

 

When a sale has been agreed by the sales teams at Leigh and Thorpe Bay respectively, it is then passed over to our dedicated sales progression team to see through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for aiding the sales progressors in their general work and thorough training will be provided. The role will be overseen by the sales progression manager and the successful candidate will work closely with her.

 

Duties will include (a representative list, not exhaustive);

·         Being the first port of call for sales progression clients

·         Meet and greet with clients in the office

·         Answering the phones and passing on messages

·         Arranging mortgage valuation appointments

·         Booking private surveys

·         Liaising with solicitors

·         Chasing searches

·         Keeping vendors up to date with progression matters

·         Handling basic sales progression  issues

·         Aiding the general running of the department

 

The correct candidate for this position should meet the following criteria; 

·         A positive and enthusiastic attitude

·         Have excellent organisational skills

·         Be articulate and have strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Be able to work in a busy customer environment

·         Have a good understanding of technology and be computer literate

·         Available to work full time Monday-Friday

·         Good time management skills

·         The ability to create and maintain a good relationship with new and existing clients

·         Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
